Yes, yes .. Here we go again .. back to Iceland .. back to Fanfest ..

But this year we are far more capsuleers attending this Iceland trip. Six in numbers: Citysnake, Flash, FLASH, Steewee, Andyt and me. And we are all looking forward to heaving a safe flight to Reykjavik tomorrow and also having an enjoyable stay in Iceland for the following 10 days.

With this amazing party and chill out and blogging on Sunday this absolutely incredible journey ended. We will fly home to Vienna on Monday early in the morning.

Fact: EVE Fanfest 2013 was really at the top of the world, at the top of CCP’s history – and will be on top in our minds 🙂 – So we definitely will think about coming back here next year.

We were about, to reach the zenith of Fanfest 2013 – Friday.

Weather was perfect, Harpa was well decorated with flags:

Live Agents (For example: Caldari Police with a Guristas Pirate (GM Stinger)) of every EVE faction, offered missions, which finally escalated into a beer-winning-drawing.

And finally – The PUB CRAWL – about 1000 EVE pilots roaming the city and downtown of Reykjavik (Hilmar, CEO of CCP, said at the keynote: “Please do not destroy my little toy town Reykjavik”):

To shorten things a bit: First day of Fanfest started – We attended many interesting presentations. Starting with a “Retribution” Roundup. Most impressive was the Dust 514 Keynote in the EVEning.

Harpa is a really good location for doing this event. Good organized and very interesting first day. Here the link to the Dust 514 Keynote:

On Wednesday CCP organized a bus trip  for the Golden Circle (If you would like to go visit iceland we absolutely recommend to do this tour). Eleven Busses, full of EVE players, started from Harpa to the first target: The Þingvellir Valley (where the American and European tectonic plates are drifting apart):
